Kitchen: Easy Banana Bread. Posted on Sunday.

Do you have some bananas with brown spots? Please don't throw away old bananas! They're perfect for this recipe. This is my grandmother's banana bread. It's very easy, and it only takes about an hour.

You need three very ripe bananas and two eggs. You also need a little butter (about 80 grams) and half a cup of sugar. Then you need one and a half cups of flour, a teaspoon of baking soda and a pinch of salt. You don't need any milk.

Mash the bananas with a fork. Mix in the melted butter, the sugar and the eggs. Then add the flour, the baking soda and the salt. Stir slowly, and don't mix too much. Pour everything into a pan and bake it at 175 degrees for about 55 minutes. Let it cool for a few minutes before you cut it. Enjoy!

Comments

Tomasz, Monday: I didn't have any bananas, so I used two apples. It tasted like apple bread, not banana bread. Three stars.

Shirin, Wednesday: I didn't use any butter. I used a lot of chocolate instead, maybe too much. Is there such a thing as too much chocolate? My kids ate the whole thing in ten minutes. Four stars.

Bea, Wednesday: Thank you, Shirin! Tomasz, the bananas are quite important. They're in the name.

Wendell, two weeks later: I didn't have enough flour, so I used rice. I didn't have any eggs, either. And bananas are expensive right now, so I used a can of fish. It was horrible, and even my cat didn't eat it. One star. Not a good recipe.
