How to study this deck

Learning the English alphabet lets you spell your name, email and address over the phone. The focus here is sound, not writing: repeat each letter aloud and practice spelling familiar words. Start with the letters that differ most from Spanish: E, G, I, J, W, Y.

The trickiest words

G: it sounds like "jee", not "hay". It is often confused with J.
I / E: I sounds like "eye" and E like a long "ee". When spelling it helps to say: "E as in Ed".
Z: in American English it is "zee"; in British English it is "zed". Both are correct.
