How to study this deck

Colors are a good deck to start with because they appear in every topic. Practice using them with nouns ("a red car", "two blue pens") and remember that the color goes before the noun, without changing for gender or number. Then learn the variants: light blue, dark green.

The trickiest words

brown: it is the color of chocolate and wood. Do not confuse it with "café", the coffee shop.
gray: it is also spelled "grey" in British English. Both are correct.
orange: it means both the color and the fruit. Context tells them apart.
