How to study this deck
These are the most frequent action verbs in daily life. Learn each verb with a short example and use it in the Present Simple ("I run every morning"). Once you know the basics, move on to the irregular ones, which change in the past: run, ran; eat, ate; write, wrote.
The trickiest words
- to watch / to look: look is pointing your eyes ("Look at me"); watch is observing something that moves ("watch TV").
- to wear: it means to have on, not to "use" a tool. For tools, use "use".
- to drive / to ride: drive is for cars; ride is for bikes, horses and motorbikes.
