The days of the week are few, but they have rules worth learning from the start: they are always capitalized and take the preposition on. Practice saying what you do each day ("On Monday I work") and the difference between weekday and weekend to talk about routines.
I have a meeting on Monday.
We go to the gym every Tuesday.
The store is closed on Wednesdays.
She has class every Thursday.
We celebrate every Friday after work.
They go shopping on Saturdays.
We visit my grandparents on Sundays.
I wake up early on weekdays.
