Match
Match the words against the clock. A fun, low-pressure way to review.
Irregular verbs do not follow the -ed rule, so they must be memorized. Always learn all three forms together (base, past and past participle) and group them by pattern: sing, sang, sung; drink, drank, drunk. The most frequent ones (be, have, do, go, say, get, make) should be mastered before the rare ones.
She went to the store yesterday.
She became a doctor.
They met at a party.
She rode her bike to school.
He lent me his car.
She spread the butter on the toast.
He swore he would help.
He proved his point with facts.
