How to study this deck

Learn the months in order and link them to dates you already know, like your birthday or vacations. Remember they are capitalized in English and take in ("in July"), but on with full dates ("on July 4th"). Practice saying your birthday aloud.

The trickiest words

• February: the first r is often dropped: "Feb-yoo-air-ee". Do not spell it "Febuary".
• March / May: March is the month and "march" is also a verb; May is the month and "may" is also a modal verb.
• August: capitalized it is the month; lowercase "august" is an adjective meaning dignified.
