How to study this deck

Uncountable nouns cannot be counted one by one and have no plural: advice, information, news, furniture. They do not take "a" or "an", and the verb is singular. To count them, use a quantity expression: "a piece of advice", "two pieces of furniture". This error is very common because many of them are countable in Spanish.

The trickiest words

news: it ends in s but is singular: "The news is good", not "the news are".
information: it has no plural: "some information", not "informations".
furniture: the same: "some furniture", not "furnitures".
