Three little pigs want to build new houses. The first pig is lazy. He has got some straw, and he builds a house in one hour. The second pig has got some sticks. He builds a house in two hours.
The third pig is not lazy. He has got bricks. It takes a long time, but his house is very strong. There is a door and there are two windows. There is a big chimney on the roof.
One day, a hungry wolf comes. He stops at the straw house. "Little pig, let me in!" "No!" says the pig. "Then I'll huff and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house down!" The wolf blows once, and the straw house falls. The pig runs to his brother's house.
The wolf comes to the stick house. He blows and blows. The sticks fall, and the two pigs run to their brother's house. It is the brick house.
Now the wolf is at the brick house. He blows very hard, but nothing happens. The house is strong. "I'll go down the chimney," he thinks. He climbs up to the roof.
But the third pig is clever. There is a big pot of hot water in the fireplace. The wolf falls into the pot. "Ow! Hot! Hot!" he shouts. He jumps out of the chimney, runs into the forest, and never comes back. The three little pigs sit in the brick house and eat their soup.
