How to study this deck
These words let you explain to a doctor how you feel. Group them by area or type: respiratory (runny nose, stuffy nose), digestive (vomiting, diarrhea), skin (rash, itch, blister) and general (fatigue, dizziness, chills). Practice with "I have..." and "I feel...". It is vocabulary worth mastering before traveling.
The trickiest words
- ache: it is a dull, continuous pain: headache, stomachache. "Pain" is more general and sharp.
- itchy: it is the adjective (something that itches); "itch" is the noun or verb.
- stuffy nose: it means a blocked nose, different from a "runny nose".
