Did you know?
In mathematics and computer science, "continuous" has a precise technical meaning (continuous function, continuous integration in DevOps). "Continual" is never used in those contexts. The distinction is sharper in scientific and technical English than in everyday speech. In formal education, "continuous learning" (uninterrupted) and "continual learning" (recurring with intervals) describe two distinct pedagogical models.
