- •"Wrap" has a silent W like "write," "wrong," "wreck," "wrist", all words where the W hides.
- •The hidden W is like wrapping paper concealing a gift.

Did you know?
"That's a wrap" originates from early Hollywood filmmaking, when after finishing a scene the director would call the order to wind up (WRAP up) the film reel. Today it signals the end of any project or session: "That's a wrap on today's meeting." The RAP music genre likely takes its name from the verb "to rap" (to talk rhythmically), used in African-American slang to describe musical conversation long before it became a defined genre in the 1970s Bronx. The silent W in WRAP comes from Old English "wrappian" (to wind around), the same root as "wrapper" (the thing that wraps something).
