Los pronombres de SUJETO (I/he/she/we/they) realizan la accion y van ANTES del verbo. Los pronombres de OBJETO (me/him/her/us/them) reciben la accion o van DESPUES de preposicion. "Between you and I" = INCORRECTO (preposicion necesita objeto). "Between you and me" = correcto.
PRONOMBRES DE SUJETO: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they. "She presented the quarterly results to the board" = ELLA presento (she = sujeto del verbo "presented"). "We have reached our sales target for the year" = NOSOTROS hemos alcanzado. USO EN ORACIONES COMPUESTAS: el error mas frecuente ocurre en sujetos compuestos: "John and I will attend the meeting" = correcto. "John and me will attend" = INCORRECTO (ambos son sujetos del verbo "will attend"). TRUCO PARA VERIFICAR: elimina el nombre y deja solo el pronombre. "I will attend" = suena bien. "Me will attend" = suena mal = usa I. PRONOMBRES DE SUJETO DESPUES DE BE: en el ingles formal, "It is I" / "It was she who called."

Although the project was originally conceived by the previous management team, it was we who ultimately bore the responsibility for its successful delivery within the agreed timeframes.
He and I had reached very different conclusions after independently reviewing the same dataset, which is precisely why the team decided to commission a third independent analysis.
PRONOMBRES DE OBJETO: me, you, him, her, it, us, you, them. Se usan en tres contextos: (1) OBJETO DIRECTO (recibe la accion directamente): "The manager briefed her before the meeting" = la informo a ELLA (her = objeto de "briefed"). (2) OBJETO INDIRECTO (recibe el beneficio de la accion): "She sent him the report" = le envio A EL el informe (him = objeto indirecto). (3) DESPUES DE PREPOSICION: "The decision is between you and me" = entre tu y YO (en espanol), PERO EN INGLES: "between you and ME" (me = despues de la preposicion "between"). ERROR HIPER-CORRECCION: muchos hablantes piensan que usar I/he/she/we/they siempre suena mas educado, y sobre-corrigen diciendo "between you and I" = INCORRECTO. Las preposiciones en ingles SIEMPRE gobiernan el caso objeto: with me/him/her/us/them (nunca "with I/he/she/we/they"). Lista de preposiciones comunes que necesitan objeto: for me, to him, with her, from them, between us, about him, by her.
The final decision rests entirely between her and the board; neither the legal team nor the external advisors have the authority to override whatever outcome they agree on.

Error frecuente
LOS TRES ERRORES MAS COMUNES: (1) HIPER-CORRECCION CON BETWEEN/WITH/FOR: "between you and I" / "with he and I" / "for you and I" = todos INCORRECTOS. Preposicion + pronombre = SIEMPRE objeto. "between you and ME" / "with him and ME" / "for you and ME." (2) SUJETO COMPUESTO CON ME: "Me and John will handle it" = INCORRECTO. Correcto: "John and I will handle it." Truco: elimina "John and" — "Me will handle it" suena mal, "I will handle it" suena bien. (3) OBJETO DESPUES DE THAN/AS EN COMPARACIONES: "She is taller than me" (informal, muy comun) vs "She is taller than I (am)" (formal). Ambas son aceptables, pero NUNCA: "She is taller than him is."
"John and I / me will attend." Queda: "I will attend" = correcto / "Me will attend" = incorrecto = usa I. TABLA RAPIDA: I/he/she/we/they = ANTES DEL VERBO (sujeto). Me/him/her/us/them = DESPUES DEL VERBO o DESPUES DE PREPOSICION (objeto). You e it = identicos en sujeto y objeto. HIPER-CORRECCION: "between you and I" = clasico ejemplo de hiper-correccion. Suena "educado" pero es un error. Preposicion = siempre objeto = "between you and ME."

Antes del verbo = sujeto: I, he, she, we, they. Despues del verbo o de preposicion = objeto: me, him, her, us, them. Truco: elimina el otro nombre y deja solo el pronombre. "Between you and I" = INCORRECTO siempre (preposicion necesita objeto). You e it = iguales en sujeto y objeto.
