"Worth" pregunta si el costo o esfuerzo vale la pena; "worthy" dice que algo o alguien es digno por merito.
Que tiene un valor equivalente a algo. Que justifica el costo o esfuerzo. Siempre va seguido de un sustantivo o gerundio.

Error frecuente
Decir "he is very worth" sin un complemento — "worth" siempre necesita algo despues: "worth it", "worth the effort", "worth seeing". No puede ir solo como "worthy" puede. Al reves: "worthy" no significa "que vale la pena" en el sentido de coste-beneficio. "This movie is worthy" suena extrano — lo correcto es "this movie is worth watching" o "a worthy film" (adjetivo antes del sustantivo).
